I'm a gamer, and while I wasn't born one I learned to appreciate them as I grew into my teenage years. I've played a good number of titles, from the old Atari Pitfall to the Modern Spelunky and I've had a lot of fun digging into their adventures. Once game magazines were popular, I took a LOT of interest in how games were made, and who the programmers, artists, and writers were. I loved reading through the names at the end of each game I was able to complete and wondering what it was like to work in that environment.
I haven't ALWAYS wanted to work in game design, I have been an artist for many years but gaming was always a very close second. Looking behind the scenes, seeing weird bugs and glitches over the years, including modern speed-running showed sides of many titles I loved I'd never seen before. Once I grew older, I took an interest in those open beta tests so I could see early builds of games and had a lot of fun. These days? I'm looking into being in QA Testing, a good friend of mine showed me a little bit of it and introduced me to a few people so here I am.
